Privacy Policy
Effective: November 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Learndini (“Learndini”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use learndini.com, medtech.learndini.com and any other website, app or course we operate (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, email address and, if available, your Google display name. Inside the Services you choose a player name and an avatar.
- Learning activity: lessons completed, answers, scores, experience points (XP), streaks, badges, flashcard progress, study time and readiness estimates.
- Social and competitive features: rankings, PvP matches and results, and any lab (study group) you create or join.
- Materials from organizations: if your organization sends us files (such as PDFs) to build a custom course, we use them only to create and provide that course, and handle them under our agreement with your organization. Organizations should remove personal information that isn’t needed for training before sending files.
- Messages and reports: anything you send us by email or through in-app reports (for example, reporting a question error).
- Payments (if offered): if we introduce paid features, payments are handled by a third-party payment processor such as PayMongo. We receive confirmation of the payment and limited details (such as the amount, date and transaction reference). We do not receive or store your full card or e-wallet credentials.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: browser type, device type, pages visited, approximate time spent and error logs, collected by us or our service providers.
- Local storage and cookies: we store settings and progress in your browser (for example, local storage) so the Services work and remember your preferences. Our service providers may also use cookies or similar technologies.
- Advertising (if shown): if we display ads (for example, through Google AdSense), the ad provider may use cookies or device identifiers to show and measure ads, which may be personalized based on your activity across sites. See section 6.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as health records, government IDs or financial account numbers). Please do not send it to us.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, maintain and improve the Services, including saving your progress across devices;
- To show rankings, run PvP matches and labs, and display your player name and avatar to other users;
- To personalize learning (for example, choosing questions and estimating readiness);
- To respond to messages, reports and support requests;
- To process payments and provide paid features, if any;
- To show advertising, if any, and measure its performance;
- To detect, prevent and address cheating, abuse, fraud, security issues and technical problems;
- To comply with legal obligations and to enforce our Terms of Use.
3. What other users can see
Your player name, avatar, level/XP, scores, rankings, PvP results and lab membership may be visible to other users. Your email address is not shown to other users. Choose a player name that does not reveal personal information you want to keep private.
3A. Labs (study groups) and their creators
If you join a Lab, the person who created it can see, and download as a report, your player name, the Google email you joined with, your level, XP, lessons completed, quiz scores and results, accuracy, study time, days studied, streaks, PvP results and readiness estimates. A Lab creator can add members by Google email and remove members. You can leave a Lab at any time. A Lab with no activity from any member for 30 days is deleted automatically together with its link; members keep their own progress. Lab creators are responsible for using member reports lawfully and only for training and learning purposes.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers who process data for us, such as Google Firebase (hosting, sign-in and database), Cloudflare (domain and network services), payment processors (such as PayMongo) and advertising partners (such as Google AdSense), under their own terms and privacy policies;
- When required by law, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to comply with legal process, protect our rights, property or safety, or those of our users or the public;
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, where information may be transferred to the new owner subject to this Policy;
- With your consent or at your direction.
5. Where information is stored
Our service providers may store and process information on servers located outside your country, including in the United States and other jurisdictions with different data protection laws. By using the Services you consent to this transfer, storage and processing.
6. Cookies, local storage and advertising choices
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings, but parts of the Services (such as staying signed in and saving progress) may stop working. If we show Google ads, you can learn how Google uses data and manage ad personalization at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and adssettings.google.com.
7. How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterwards only as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes such as resolving disputes, preventing abuse, keeping records required by law and enforcing our agreements. Aggregated or de-identified information may be kept indefinitely.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and database security rules. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Services at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), you may have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to object to processing, to request deletion or blocking, to data portability, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. To make a request, email learndini@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account. We may need to verify your identity, and some requests may be limited where the law allows (for example, records we must keep).
Deleting your account: email us to request deletion of your account and associated learning data. Some information may remain in backups for a limited time, and aggregated statistics or records of finished matches may remain without identifying you.
10. Children
The Services are intended for students and professionals preparing for professional examinations and are not directed to children under 13. Users under 18 should use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to or rely on third-party websites and services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
